HANDWRITTEN LETTER

one of my favorite finds are handwritten letters. this is a hand written letter, written in italian, which i scanned and inverted for an alternative photography project a while back.

a common theme in my work is unreadable text. i find the essence of words more appealing than reading words themselves, and am always drawn to handwriting that is in another language and often from many years ago.
