i remember coming across the work of leonard baskin and being blown away by the rawness, the emotion that he was able to portray. he worked in many themes (portraits, birds of prey, figures of death and the dead) and in many different mediums (sculpture, watercolor, woodblock prints, drawings).
my adoration has never waned.
may you become lost in the depth of this man's soul.
